Plug Smart Recognized for Energy Contributions by Mayor Michael Coleman

Plug Smart was recently acknowledged in Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman’s  “State of the City” address on February 25th, 2011 for the company’s contributions in helping Columbus become poised to become the national center for new sources of energy.  In this speech, Mayor Coleman added that job growth for the New Economy will be fueled by new, clean energy sources.

In 2010, Columbus was chosen as the location for the Ohio Hub of Innovation for Advanced Energy.  The Mayor added that it takes the help of businesses like CODA Automotive, Plug Smart, Venturi and others located right here in Columbus to research, manufacture and globally distribute products such as electric vehicles, charging stations and energy storage systems.
