Ohio Valley School District

Plug Smart has the very unique ability to find and acquire rebate money for nearly all of their clients.  When we found out that the Ohio Valley school district underwent several energy efficiency renovations within the past few years in order to save money on their utility bills, we knew that we could help.  The school district was unaware of the rebate programs in Ohio that encourage these types of renovations across the state.  Plug Smart approached the district to see if they would allow us to go back,  look at the renovations that were made, and see if they qualified for any rebates from their utility provider.  Steve Wolfe, facilities manager of Ohio Valley, obliged and Plug Smart got to work.  After a large-scale analysis by our engineers and a great deal of paperwork, we were able to retroactively find a $104,000 rebate for two of the schools that underwent renovations.  This was money that they were entitled to, but they were simply not aware that it existed.

Plug Smart is capable of doing projects like this one, across the entire state of Ohio. There is no obligation to the client to move forward with these projects, but with the cuts made by schools all over Ohio, projects like these are a must. The Ohio Valley School District was so impressed by the work that Plug Smart completed, that they are currently contracting with us to find rebates for two other schools within the district.

Quotes from Steve Wolfe (Facilities Manager) –

“I have worked with a lot of vendors; Plug Smart is at the very top of my list”

“Plug Smart was very low-pressure and made the rebate process very easy to understand”

“The turnaround on the rebate project was much quicker than I could have ever imagined, as a small school district, we don’t have the time or resources to do projects like these, and in this case we were able to get the rebate with minimal effort on our part.”

“There is nothing that Plug Smart could have done to make this process easier; I would recommend Plug Smart to any School District.”
