Plug Smart works with Ohio school district to improve facilities without additional taxpayer dollars

Plug Smart recently worked alongside Howland School District to make major improvements to their HVAC, building automation, and lighting systems They had not replaced sought constructing new buildings through the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) because it would mean asking Howland residents to pay for 84% of the cost: a bridge too far for district administrators. The district came to Plug Smart for a solution and were able to decrease their electric bills for lighting by over 50% by replacing the existing lighting fixtures alone.
