Plug Smart works with Toledo’s Waste Water Treatment Plant

With days remaining before the year-end deadline to submit  2008 rebates, the Toledo Port Authority, City of Toledo, and Plug Smart teamed up to ensure that all qualified rebates were filed on time.  Plug Smart quickly identified the City’s waste water treatment facility as a prime target, due to projects that they had completed nearly 3 years ago. Plug Smart, with their extensive knowledge on the First Energy Program and the City’s great engineering staff, were able to submit and recover rebates just before the incentive expired.  In the end, Plug Smart was able to recover over $70,000 for the City of Toledo in rebate money from past Energy Efficiency projects.
